29″ WHEELS / 155MM REAR / 160MM FRONT

We spent years designing, testing, riding and refining this bike. The Rail29 represents the best of what we have learned since launching the Revel brand just three short years ago. We love our Rail 27.5, but 29” wheels, bigger bearings, beefier hardware, and an absurdly well-tuned CBF suspension platform make this bike something we are wildly proud of.

We like pedaling uphill almost as much as we like railing down the trail, and this bike’s climbing efficiency is truly impressive for a bike with 155mm of travel. The Rail29 will be right at home on the top of any enduro race track, the bike park, or all day epics in the hills. This bike exudes confidence in any terrain and will have you smiling for miles as you Rail corners and Revel the trail.

CBF (Canflied Balanced Formula) suspension

CBF™ focuses on designing rear suspension around the Center of Curvature (CC). CBF points the chainline and corresponding drive forces around the top of the chainring through 100-percent of the travel resulting in maximum pedaling efficiency, regardless of where you are in the travel, what terrain you are on or what kind of power you’re putting down. All the power you put into the pedals goes into turning the rear wheel, allowing the suspension to do its job completely independent of drivetrain and braking forces and making the sag setting much less critical.

Carbon Layup Tech

Revel uses a mix of Japanese Toray T700 and T800 fibers in the frames, but the real magic that makes the bike so good is in the angles. Most bike frames use a selection of 0-, 45-, and 90-degree fibers, since these are the most readily available and easiest to work with. Revel optimizes their frame using more 30/60-degree fibers, which, when laid up properly, creates stronger and stiffer tubing and shapes, using less material.

Integrated Revel Chain Guide

Details! Revel wanted to create a super-stealthy, ultra-effective chain guide. This lil’ guy will hold your chain on your chainring and is super easy to adjust—all while maintaining the simplicity and clean aesthetic. Optimized around SRAM DUB cranks and BBs.

Internal Routing

Revel uses the best method for internal routing in the biz! Revel’s full-carbon tubes are molded in one piece onto the inside of the carbon frame tubes. Not only does this provide structural improvement to the frame, it also allows you to route an entire frame in about a minute. No rattling, no noise, and no fishing cables out of frames.
